The short story is that late on the night of July 4, one of our dogs got hit by a car, had major internal injuries, had surgery and is recovering.
July 2010 is one month of our lives we’ll not get back but it provided much time for late-night reflection. Pamdemonium will explore the long story – a rollercoaster of emotions, ups, downs, fears, meltdowns, canine rehab, bills — every Thursday for the next few months.
Random Fact will resume next Sunday, a week from today, or maybe even this evening if I can focus on something. Focus and sleep have been elusive.
Crappy things happen in life all the time; it is part of being human. We cannot plan for them but if we are open, we can learn from them.
